Please email me with confirmation of transfer in order to prompt acknowledgment of the payment.
Final payment for your cake is required no later than 1 week before the delivery/collection date.

If cancellation of the event takes place, I reserve the right to retain your initial payment. If cancellation takes place 1 week before the event then I reserve the right to keep 75% of the total price to cover all costs to cover the supplies and production of your cake.
Cancellation must be made in writing via email to Dayne Joseph Cake Art and will only be deemed to take effect from the date your email is received.
If you POSTPONE the event then I will endeavour to transfer your order providing the date is suitable for myself, otherwise it shall be treated as a cancellation.

EXCLUDING LIABILITY
I do not exclude liability for a) any fraudulent act or omission, or b) for death or personal injury caused by negligence or breach of my other legal obligations. Subject to this, I am not liable for loss which was not reasonably foreseeable to you at the time when the contract was made.
ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
I work in an environment where allergens are used on a daily basis. While I take every care, I cannot guarantee that my cakes are free from traces of gluten, eggs, dairy, soya, tree nuts, sesame & peanuts. Because of this, If you suffer from a severe allergy, I will not be able to cater for you but I can do my best to help recommend other suppliers who can.
NON EDIBLE ITEMS
Some cakes can contain small proportions of inedible items. It is the clients responsibility to make sure these are either removed before consumption or avoided from consumption e.g. support rods/dowels, internal cake boards/drums, ribbon.
CAKE COLLECTION
If you choose to collect your cake, I will not be held responsible for any damage caused to the cake once it has left my premises. Tiered/bust cakes are most at risk during transport, so please seek my advice on how to transport it. To make sure your cake is as fresh as possible, I recommend it is collected the day before the event. Late requests for delivery (after securing the booking based on collection) will be accommodated where possible, but cannot be guaranteed, as earlier delivery commitments must take priority.
